Momcovi, koju plocu da stampam za FF, oridjidji ili je mozda bolje da zemam neki drugi layout?

kakve komponente koristis? ako ces vintage-style velike horizontalne komponent kao cortex onda ne znam koji je najbolji, a za ove moderne (radial kondenzatori, mali otpornici) je tonepad super. Ja sam njega koristio.

ako hoces da tweak-ujes onda neku sa trimerima (za biasing) a ako oces true onda oridji, carbon comp. matched trannies...
evo moj kako izgleda (razmisljam ipak da mu ugradim buffer, na dugme ;) )

Bancika, nemam pojma jos uvek. Verovatno ce ici nesto sto pribliznije komponentama iz onijeh dana™, mada ne mora da znaci... Na kraju krajeva, mogu da ih met'em da stoje uspravno ako ne mogu da stanu horizontalno. :mrgreen:

Matorancicu, sta kazes, da prenesem to na stampu ili preporucujes bas takvu izvedbu? Jerbo, prosli put sam samo ispekao prste i nije proradio kako valja na kraju. :hide:

Pa jedini trim moz' da bude na mestu 8k2, mada mozda i preskocim trim, nego nadjem vrednost koja ce biti priblizna zeljenoj voltazi i tako ga i ostavim.
Inace, ODLICNO si ga sklopio, svaka cast. :ziveli:

Izgleda da ne treba prvo da se krece u plan sa plocom, vec komponentama... :bambi:

trim je dobra stvar za imati pored oba tranzistora. Ja sam stavio sockete da bih mogao da menjam otpornike i tako nadjem sweet spot. Definitivno nemoj da zalemis fiksne otpornike i nadas se da ce biti dobro. FF je jednostavan ali zahteva cackanje da bi bio savrsen.

A sta radi trim na prvom trandzi? To sam prvi put video kod Trippsovih FF-eva, pa onda i kod vas momcovi. :)
Ja sam bas zbog tih cackanja vrednosti mislio da uzmem sto prostraniju stampanu plocu (a sta je prostranije od oridjidjija :mrgreen: ), plasim se da radim sa socketima - sem na trandzama, naravski. Tu me strah da lemim. :bambi:

Whosyourdaddy, po layoutu bih rekao da je ovo Dallas Arbiter FF ploca? Jesi je pravio u 1:1 ili si menjao dimenzije?

Zgodno je da mozes da nabodes dobar bias na Q1. Morao sam da se poigram sa otpornikom da dobijem zadovoljavajucih -0.8V.
Mozda ti se posreci iz prve, sta znam. Za Q2 je bitnije da imas trimer, ali ne skodi ni za Q1. Bonamassa fuzz ima trimer na oba, mislim i Eric Johnson.

A sta se desava sa FF-om ako je Q1 biasovan ispod ili iznad?
Msm, svi znamo tonske razlike koje se dobijaju cackanja biasa drugog, ali ovo mi je uber novost. :oops:

Evo dela RG-jevog teksta koji se na to odnosi:
The voltage swing in the other direction, when the input is trying to turn the first transistor off, is not as constrained as the swing towards saturation. Fuzz Faces naturally tend to bias with only about half a volt on the collector of the first transistor, so there is a lot of room upwards. The input stage will first hit mushy saturation on one polarity of signal and then if driven hard enough, hit cutoff on the other polarity. The Fuzz Face has asymetrical clipping designed into it!
Ako ides prema centru (-4.5) udaljavas se od cutoff tacke pa je zvuk vise simetrican (odsecanje isto na obe strane sinusoide), sto blize biasujes prema cutoff to je zvuk vise asimetrican, a to zna da zvuci dobro. Ovaj pozitivan deo sinusoide tera bias point blize ka 0V, tj blize ka tacki odsecanja.
Npr cold-clipper stage na soldano/boogie i ostalim pojacalima je asimetrican clipper.
